The 'New Road Blues Company' are a five piece Blues Rock band based in Sutton Coldfield. Hailed as a great live act that play an exciting mix of blues and rock classics, from FREE, JIMI HENDRIX, THE BEATLES, BOWIE, ROLLING STONES, B B KING, WHITESNAKE, ZZ TOP and BLACK SABBATH amongst others!

Tim has organised the event and brought along the Walsall Jazz Orchestra as an added bonus.

Founded originally in 1975 by John Hughes who led the band until his death in 2019, The Walsall Jazz Orchestra is a unique 19-piece big band which, unlike the vast majority of big bands, plays mainly contemporary, rather than traditional big band music. Now run as a collective and continuing John’s musical legacy, the band plays an eclectic mix of arrangements of music ranging from Steely Dan to well-known jazz artists including Pat Metheny, and Chick Corea, and features various original compositions from current members Nick Dewhurst and Tim Amann, among others. WJO have released three CDs which have received rave reviews in the music press and have played at various venues across the UK and internationally, including four memorable appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
