GregĀ Abate is a jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer and recording artist who tours Internationally and spends 2 months in the UK playing clubs and festivals.Ā
Greg is proud to have been selected number 2 favorite Alto Saxophonist on the Downbeat Magazine Readers Poll in 2022 and has been in the top 10 for 3 years now.
Ā At the beginning of his career Greg played lead alto saxophone in theĀ RayCharlesĀ OrchestraĀ .
Ā Greg also had the opportunity to play tenor sax with the revivedĀ Artie Shaw OrchestraĀ under leadership of Dick Johnson.
Following this experience ,
Greg ventured out as a soloist or with his quartet Ā to Jazz Festivals, Jazz Societies and Jazz Clubs throughout the U.S. Canada and abroad, including most of Europe, and United Kingdom. - Suggested Donation Ā£10
