Lydia Rae is a Jazz, Classical and Musical Theatre singer and composer from the UK who has fronted several Big Bands around the country and has performed in various venues and festivals in Europe.
A rising star on the UK jazz scene, she performs with her own band combining some of her original compositions with arrangements of familiar tunes from the Great American Song Book. Her voice has been described as sounding like “caramel”, “honey” and “liquid gold”!
Lydia will be performing for the first time at The Trumpet fronting an experienced regular house trio made up of Tim Amann (piano), Tom Marsh (Bass) and Reece Downton (drums).
