The Band

Mike and Ali played for many years with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and with Keith Nichols. Mike then moved to play with Chris Barber, initially alongside Pat Halcox and then replacing him when
Pat could no longer play. He is still in the tribute band. Hugh Crozier played with Bill Brunskill for a long time as well as being in Bob Kerr’s Whoopee Band. Graham has played with the Temperance Seven and is still with Harry Strutter’s Dance Orchestra. And Jim, who would be depping with us, I believe you already know from Jools band and with Warren James

Paula

My musical history is the least impressive as I was teaching full time until recently but I was introduced to early jazz when I was 14, in the mid-eighties. I have played with all sorts of bands, never venturing into anything other than NO jazz and Dixieland. I currently play with Hugh Crozier’s Incomparables (focussing on Louis Armstrong’s Hot 5 and 7 and Jelly Roll Morton mainly), Hershey’s Hotshots, Bob Dwyer’s Bix and Pieces and the Big Easy 5, as well as my own Jazz Masters (Masters, being my married name).
