Cornet vs Trumpet? Student vs Pro?

It appears that almost no one plays cornet, just trumpet. I can't hear the difference. What's the deal? What is different about the pro models, which cost substantially more? Are there new mouthpiece designs which make it easier to hit high notes? Which one is best student trumpet on market ?

Idea to expand the range of snacks on offer

We are wondering if it is an idea to start offering a larger range of snacks at the Trumpet. This would encourage visitors to stay longer, and spend more per head. The additions could include locally-made cobs, sausage rolls, pork pies and pasties. Best Wishes, Matthew.

Possible solutions to holding jazz nights?

Dear All, We send our best wishes to fellow jazz enthusiasts under these difficult times. Does anyone have any information about plans to re-open the Trumpet as a pub, and also as a jazz venue? The situation is extremely challenging to all involved and with regard to jazz, it may be many months yet
